The National Chairman of the country, Alhaji Shehu Musa Gabam, has denied claims and fake news making the rounds on the internet regarding his suspension as the party's National Chairman. Gabam described the news as fake while addressing party supporters in his office in Abuja on Monday.

The SDP National Chairman explained that the malicious reports were an attempt to destabilize the party and tarnish his reputation. He assured the public that the party remains strong, focused, and united, and will continue to work towards building a better future for the nation.

Gabam stated that the presence of key party members of the National Working Committee (NWC), including some state Chairmen, further cleared the air on the news making the rounds, categorically denying the false reports of his suspension and reaffirming their unity and commitment to the party's ideals.

The gathering served as a testament to the party's strength and solidarity, as they stand together against the malicious attempts to undermine their efforts. The state Chairmen and NWC members expressed their unwavering support for the party's leadership and reiterated their commitment to providing a credible alternative to the Nigerian people.

This show of unity and solidarity sends a strong message to their detractors that they will not be swayed by baseless allegations and fake news. Gabam emphasized that the allegations of financial misconduct leveled against him and other NWC members are unfounded and lack any basis.
