SBU Vanguard Leads Massive Defection from PDP to APC in Bauchi Central

From: Mustapha Ahmad

A significant political earthquake shook Bauchi Central today as three groups, comprising hunters, musicians, and downloaders from six Local Government Areas, defected from the People's Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC). The groups, hailing from Ningi, Warji, Ganjuwa, Darazo, Misau, and Dambam, officially joined the APC at the SBU State Secretariat in Bauchi, under the leadership of SBU-Vanguard.

The defection was largely inspired by the leadership and vision of Senator Shehu Buba Umar, who has been a pivotal figure in the transition. His dedication to the development of Bauchi State has resonated deeply with the groups that have now joined the APC. Senator Umar's vision for a prosperous and inclusive Bauchi has inspired many to align themselves with the APC, believing that under his leadership, the state can achieve significant progress.

The decampment was marked by a gathering of key APC leaders, including the APC Zonal Chairman for Bauchi Central, Hon. Bilyaminu Bura, the State APC Deputy Organising Secretary, Bappah Ajiya, and the APC Chairman of Darazo LGA, Adamu Mohd Maichibi, and Barrister Sa'ad. Their presence underscored the unity and strength of the APC as it welcomes new members committed to the party's ideals.

The gathering of APC leaders and the defecting groups demonstrated the party's commitment to unity and progress. The APC has once again shown its ability to attract and welcome new members who share its vision for a better Bauchi State.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the Zonal Chairman of the APC, along with the leadership of SBU-Vanguard, announced that all necessary arrangements will be made to formally welcome the new members of the defecting groups at the Darazo Local Government Area. This gesture demonstrates the APC's commitment to making its new members feel welcome and valued.

SBU-Vanguard played a crucial role in facilitating the defection, with Engr Ishaq S Dabo, a key figure in the organization, leading the charge. As the Deputy Governor aspirant and SBU-Vanguard's aspirant for Governor of Bauchi State, Engr Dabo's efforts have paid off, as the groups have chosen to join the APC.

The defection is a significant boost to the APC's strength in Bauchi Central, and it remains to be seen how this development will impact the state's politics. One thing is certain, however: the APC has emerged stronger, with new members committed to the party's ideals and vision for a prosperous Bauchi State.

As the groups settle into their new home in the APC, they have expressed their commitment to working together with the party's leaders to achieve their shared vision for Bauchi State. With Senator Shehu Buba Umar's leadership and the APC's unity and strength, the stage is set for a brighter future for Bauchi State.
