Wakilin Gombe's Timely Intervention Eases Students' Burden



Students of tertiary institutions in Gombe State have expressed gratitude to Alhaji Ibrahim Shehu Turaki, Wakilin Gombe, for his scholarship assistance, which has alleviated their financial burdens. The benevolent gesture has enabled less privileged students to access registration, despite the prevailing economic hardship.

In an interview with our correspondent, Faith Johnson, in Gombe on Tuesday, one of the student leaders at the Federal University Kashere commended Wakilin Gombe's initiative. The student leader described the scholarship scheme as "really supportive and helpful," adding that individual interventions like this are crucial in ensuring that students can pursue their education without undue financial stress.

This is not the first time Wakilin Gombe has provided scholarship assistance to less privileged students. According to the student leader, Wakilin Gombe has consistently demonstrated his commitment to supporting education in the state. The beneficiaries accessed the support through Comrade Hamza Ahmad Bello, a staff member in the Bursary/Finance Department of the Federal University Kashere, who facilitated the scholarships and the registration process.

The students praised Wakilin Gombe's humanitarian services, describing him as a worthy son of the soil who has always demonstrated a commitment to supporting the less privileged. They prayed for the Almighty Allah to continue guiding and protecting him as he continues to make a positive impact in the lives of Gombe State citizens.
