The National Coordinator of Nigerian Peace Advocate , Khalid Saleh has described the appointment of the immediate past Governor of Jigawa State Mohammed Badaru Abukakar as the best choice and a step in the right direction.

Speaking in Maiduguri shortly after the announcement of the portfolios to the Ministers designated by President Bola Ahmad Tinubu GCFR said,the President has taken a decision in the overall interest of the nation.

According to him,the Former Jigawa State Governor has done enough to stabilized the Dutse and its environs during his reigned by making it the Peaceful and safe haven for the entire North West region.

Despite the unfortunate circumstances of banditry incidents within the North West ,yet Jigawa State was Peaceful and a destination of investment.

The appointment of Badaru as Minister of defense designated will no doubt bring an end to the the ongoing ravaging security challenges Confronting the North and the country in general.

The President must be commended for this bold decision to appoints one of the best Northern brains alive as Minister of defense and this is a testimony of his leadership commitments to bring the nation challenges to an end.

By this development,As you people,We shall support the Government and the  defense Minister designated in carrying sensitization that will assist greatly in bringing an end this reccuring violence. He concludes.
