The full Press text reads:

Gentlemen of the press

The SouthEast consolidation movement wishes to express its continuous concern on the high allegation leveled against Dr. Evelyn Ngige, the permanent secretary of the ministry of Industry, trade and investments over her involvement in prosecurement scandals and alleged bribery of the head of service, bureau of  public prosecurement to shield her from corrupt practices following her indictment by the Nigerian Police Force.Unfortunately even the Nigerian police is now shielding the corrupt practices of the Permanent secretary by not prosecuting her fordard

The Bureau Of Public Procurement confirm in a letter that they were not involved of such prosecurement by the Permanent Secretary
You may recall that the investigation ordered by the Inspector General of Police indicted the permanent secretary for contravening the procurement acts Section 58(4) (d)(5) and 21 of the public procurement act, which is a clear criminal bridge of trust capable of being prosecuted under the law.

We are dismay that Mrs Ngige still finds herself in public office and has not been suspended for her corrupt act. We call on  Nigerian police force not to relent and speed up the prosecutions in no distance time.

We equally called on  the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to be cautious of people saddled with public office must be of good character and trustworthy while we challenged the IGP of the Nigerian police force to step up  efforts despite alleged huge financial inducement to mute over the case, this has further demonstrated the ability of the force towards criminal convictions and prosecutions of corrupt Government officials.
We therefore urge anti-corruption agencies to carryout investigation for further prosecution of her corrupt acts

James Ajaera
Coordinator
