10th Assembly:Group Endorsed Betara for Speaker.

A group known as Betara Youth National Front has endorsed Rt. Hon. Muktar Aliyu Betara, Member Representing the good people of Biu/Bayo/Shani/Kwaya Kusar Federal constituency of Borno State as the Speaker of the 10th House of Representatives.

This was conveyed in Press Conference issued today in Bauchi,Betara is the Chairman House Committee on Appropriation of the 9th Assembly has to his archives the needed experience and capabilities the lead a robust 10th Assembly.

As nous  Political  figure,He will work closely with the Executive Arm of Government in ensuring that the budget is pass on due time and ensure implications in the best interest of the Country. 

The Convener of the group,Mallam Ayuba Hassan said,Nigeria is passing through a trying moment and the time is for the leadership of the rulling All Progressive Congress,the Stakeholders and the President elect to rally round behind credibility that will the nation quality legislation to improve the living standard of an average Nigerian.

According to him,Rt.Hon. Muktar Aliyu Betara Speakership will provided a level playing ground for the incoming administration of Asiwaju Bola Ahmad Tinubu to move Nigeria forward.As the important and crucial roles of the legislatures in bringing good Governance and devedend of democracy closer to the people.

One of the greatest challenges confronting our nation is leadership.At every level of development local, State or federal government, a reliable, well- informed leader is urgently needed and  Betara has done the extra ordinary as Chairman House Committee on Appropriation.

Available data show that Betara is an outstanding personality who has the capacity to properly lead and manage the Affairs of the 10th Assembly.His acceptance by all and sundry is an induction attributes that should the National Executive Committee of the rulling All Progressive Congress.

The Party will be in safe hands if he emerges as the next speaker of the house of Representatives. We find him very suitable for this this important position. We can assure you that his intention to vie for the office has resulted in enormous increase in the number of people who have volunteered to join our campaign organization.

We are calling on well-meaning party faithful, Progressive Governors, Members elect across the party lines to support Betara as the speaker of the 10th assembly ahead of the June Inauguration/Election of the Presiding Officers who will pilot the affiars of the House in the next four years. He is well known as an efficient,result driven Member. He is an exceptaonal man who deserves recognition and respect.

He recorded huge successes as member representing the good people of Biu/Bayo/Shani/Kwaya Kusar federal constituency Borno state in the areas of human capital development, provision of quality and affordable education to his constituents teeming youths, in the area of health and road constructions.If elected as the speaker, he will ensure that the legislation under his watch will be the best interest to Nigerians who can no longer afford to hear excuses for not being able to provide direction for the well-being and progress, of the country in delivering the campaign promises of the party,” he said.

The Convener, appreciate the coalition of Northeast APC Groups, Legislative Watch Initiative, and other women and youth civil society organizations across the Northeast states for their support and such program will be hold in the remaining 5 geopolitical zones of the country and grand finale in Abuja before the inauguration and election of the 10th assembly.
