Northern Groups call for joint Military Action as Bandits killled scores in Goronyo.

The Northern Youths Assembly of Nigeria (NYAN) has Condemned in strong terms the Killings and bloodbath of innocent Nigerians in Goronyo Local Government Area of Sokoto State.

Addressing Journalist on Monday in Lafia the Capital of Nasarawa State, The Speaker Rt.Hon. Ibrahim Mohammed Lawal described the killings in Sokoto State as barbaric and call for urgent Government attention through the deployment of more gatzets to combat the ongoing Insecurity challenges in the North.

The group canvasses for joint military action in dealing with the activities of terrorist hidding in the mode of bandits across the country. We shall by this by Press statement continue to collaborate with the relevant stakeholders particularly the Government to end this current of plight of Insecurity in Nigeria.

The grpups lamented the killings of innocent Nigerians and destruction of property by the terrorist in Gorronyo Central market in sokkoto state. This attacked as barbaric, unacceptable, a coordinated conspiracy, dastardly act and it is  callous and inhuman, considering the high number of casualties in terms of lives lost and how the onion and catlle market is affected.

 We Condemned the killings for whatever reason in strong terms, as this cannot in any way solve or address the perceived problems of the attackers.

It is a coordinated conspiracy to continue with the agenda of distabilzing the economy of the region and render it a war torn zone like aghanistan.Once more,  We are using this medium to appeal to northern youths to remain resolute in thier zeal to help government end this terrorists.

We therefore, call on the Federal Government of Nigeria to as a matter of national instrest swift into action and bring the perpetrators to book and end this recurrent incidents that is on the verge of distroying the North. They concluded.
