UMAHI; THE UNDISPUTED NEW NIGERIA PACESETTER.

The return of democracy in Nigeria as a basic concept of Government in 1999 did not occurred as an accident, neither deliberate. It was generally regarded as a Clarion call to the yearning and aspiration of Nigerians, against the dictatorial regimes of the Military Junta that was  outrightly controlled by privileged few. Undoubtedly, Democracy has come to stay in Nigeria with almost two decades transition from one Civilian Administration to the Other.

Since the creation of Ebonyi State in 1996 by Late General Sani Abacha, the state had never witnessed a genuine transformation like it has seen under Governor Dave Nweze Umahi. He has changed the narratives of leadership to a more Democratic using a Trickle down Approach of governance. He is following the tenets of representatives Government responsibly and  religiously. His responsiveness to People's needs earned him trust and great admiration throughout the southeastern part of the country and Nigeria at large.

His Excellency David Umahi believed in the Unity Of Nigeria. He openly preached the gospel of peace, harmony and tolerance among Nigerians. As the current chairman of Southeast Governor's Forum and Executive Governor Of Ebonyi State, his stance on National Development, dialogue and peace building effort of Nigeria became open secret. He was blessed with the oratory prowess of Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa, Knowledge Of Dr. Nnamdi Azikwe, Charismatic aura of Sir. Ahmadu Bello (Sardauna Of Sokoto), Leadership dexterity of Chief Obafemi Awolowo, Managerial Skills Of Mal. Aminu Kano, Doggedness Of Michael Opara, Struggle Of Chief Akintola Williams. Gov. Dave Nweze Umahi is a cosmopolitan and consumate leader per Excellence.

It is Worthy of mention that Governor Dave Nweze Umahi Six years stewartship at the helm of affairs and as the Democratically Elected Governor Of Ebonyi State has opened a new chapter in the developmental process of the state and Nigeria in general.His transformation agendas is ubiquitous, his policies and Programmes are dynamic and also his Achievements are realistic.Umahi's footprints in the life of ordinary citizens of Ebonyi State are tangible and feasibly glaring.

Education Sector Under Umahi recieved tremendous attention and concern from the Government. Ebonyi State have never had it so good like Under the administration of H.E Gov. Dave Nweze Umahi. Government had deployed all the resources within its reach to ensure that the state came out the best. Education from Primary level to Tertiary level recieved unalloyed transformation. Ebonyi State is one of the best ten States in Nigeria that Accorded significant preference to Education. The state Government is currently building a world best Teaching Hospital that stands the test of time.

Infrastructural Development under Gov. Dave Nweze Umahi Of Ebonyi State also recieved tremendous attention. Many roads in both urban and rural area are constructed. Ebonyi State is one of the leading state in the southeastern part of Nigeria in terms of infrastructural Development and the country at large.At this stage of your long and very eventful life, you have nothing, absolutely nothing to lose but to bequeath, as your legacy, a united Nigeria running on justice, equity, hard work, productivity and prosperity.

Youth and Women Empowerment also recieved tremendous attention under Gov. Dave Nweze Umahi Six years administration. Youth and Women were empowered in thousands which led to the freeing up of a large chunks of the hitherto impoverished citizens in the state.Dividends Of Democracy are seen almost everywhere in the state. Ebonyi State is not an oil-rich state, but achieved a great feats in almost every strata of human endeavor.

On a lighter mood, One could say that the year 2023 and the future of Nigeria rests heavily on the nature of leadership that will emerge. Nigeria will definitely require a leader who will consolidate on the effort put in place by the successive  administration particularly the current APC led Government under President Muhammadu Buhari GCFR. H.E Gov. Dave Nweze Umahi is a detribalised Nigeria Leader Whose leadership experience if have the Opportunity in the year 2023 will take the Nigeria Out of the current challenges.

On this note, I Congratulate H.E Gov. Dave Nweze Umahi Of Ebonyi State on his successful Six years in Office. Gov. Dave Nweze Umahi is Undoubtedly a New Nigeria Pacesetter.

Dr. Agunloye's Signature Discrepancies Raise Concerns
