The visit aimed to strengthen community ties and acknowledge the traditional leaders’ roles and promote peace throughout the region for development.
The delegation engaged in a fruitful and engaging discussion with the three Emirs, focusing on pressing issues such as security, infrastructure, and youth empowerment within Toro constituency. Hon. Dabo highlighted the government’s commitment to improving road networks, healthcare facilities, and educational institutions, while the Emirs pledged to mobilize their communities toward peace and cooperation. The courtesy visit has been hailed as a milestone in strengthening the bond between Bauchi’s political leadership and its traditional institutions. Observers note that such collaborative engagements are vital for addressing the myriad challenges facing the state, from insecurity to economic stagnation.
