The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) has commended Mrs. Aisha Adamu, Executive Chairman of the Gombe State Board of Internal Revenue Service (BIRS), for her exemplary leadership and transformative service to the people of Gombe State. In a statement signed by Usman Wakili, JCC Chairman Gombe Axis, NANS described Mrs. Adamu's leadership as visionary, transparent, and accountable. The statement noted that under her stewardship, the Gombe BIRS has become a model of innovation and fiscal responsibility, contributing significantly to the socio-economic growth and sustainable development of Gombe State.
