APC Gains Strength: 10,000 PDP Members Defect in Bauchi

Bauchi,  In a significant development, over 10,000 members of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) have defected to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Darazo Local Government Area of Bauchi State. The defection was led by prominent PDP groups, including PDP hunters, singers, and downloaders, who expressed their commitment to joining the APC under the leadership of Engr Ishaq Dabo, Director General SBU-VANGUARD.

The defection ceremony was graced by key members of the APC, including the State Public Relations Officer, Alhaji Adamu Jalla, who represented the APC State Chairman. Other notable attendees included the Bauchi Central Party Chairman, Honorable Bilyaminu Usman Bura, and Party Chairmen from Ningi, Warji, Ganjuwa, Darazo, Misau, and Dambam local government areas.

The SBU-VANGUARD presented APC membership cards to the defected members and leaders, assuring them of Senator Shehu Buba Umar's vision to salvage Bauchi State if elected Governor.

The Bauchi Central APC Chairman, Honorable Bilyaminu Usman Bura, was awarded an Award of Excellence by the SBU-VANGUARD for his exemplary leadership in promoting the ideals and progress of the APC in Bauchi Central and the state at large.

The mass defection is a significant boost to the APC's strength in Darazo Local Government Area and Bauchi State as a whole. The party's leadership has welcomed the new members and expressed optimism about their contributions to the party's success.

The SBU-VANGUARD's efforts in mobilizing support for the APC have been notable, and their endorsement of Senator Shehu Buba Umar's candidacy is expected to have a positive impact on the party's fortunes in the state.
