Building Momentum: SBU Calls for TikTok and Video Poem Entries

Senator Shehu Buba Umar Vanguard SBU for Governor has called for participation in a dual challenge aimed at showcasing his credibility and competency as the most qualified candidate for the Governorship of Bauchi State in 2027. The challenge, which consists of a TikTok video content challenge and a video poem challenge, invites supporters to highlight Senator Umar's achievements, leadership qualities, and vision for a brighter future for Bauchi State.

The TikTok video content challenge requires participants to create a video in English or Hausa Language showcasing Senator Umar's credibility and competency. The video should include key achievements of Senator Umar, his contributions to the community and state, personal stories or testimonials about his leadership, and reasons why he is the best choice for Governor in 2027.

The video poem challenge, on the other hand, requires participants to create a spoken video poem in English or Hausa Language that captures the essence of Senator Umar's vision for Bauchi State. The poem should include themes of leadership, hope, and community, highlighting Senator Umar's contributions to the state and its people, and explaining why he is the ideal candidate for Governor in 2027.

The challenge timeline runs from June 8, 2025, to June 22, 2025. Participants are required to send their videos to the WhatsApp number 09023416254 along with their full name and address. For the TikTok challenge, participants should use the hashtag #SBU4GOVERNORChallenge.

Exciting prizes will be awarded to the top two entries from each platform. For the TikTok content challenge, the first position will receive N150,000, the second position N100,000, and the third position N50,000. For the video poem challenge, the first position will receive N100,000, the second position N50,000, and the third position N30,000.

All participants will be featured on the official SBU Vanguard social media handles, including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and X (Twitter). The management will review and approve the videos for upload to the official handles. After approval, participants will receive a link to share with their family and friends to invite them to follow, comment, and like their videos.

The participant with the highest number of viewers, comments, likes, and followers will have an added advantage in the competition. The challenge aims to showcase Senator Umar's leadership qualities and vision for Bauchi State, and to demonstrate why he is the right choice for Governor in 2027.

The official launch of the SBU Vanguard social media handles is imminent, and supporters are encouraged to participate in the challenge to show their support for Senator Umar's governorship bid. Engr. Ishaq Dabo, DG SBU-Vanguard For Governor Bauchi State, has urged supporters to take part in the challenge and help build momentum for Senator Umar's campaign.
