Peaceful Resolution Sought as Thomas Umar Faces Arraignment

The spokesperson for the friends, family, and well-wishers of Comrade Thomas Umar, Barry J.K, has issued a statement urging the citizens of Tangale-Waje to disregard all forms of procession planned for tomorrow during Thomas' arraignment. According to Barry, the planned protest is allegedly orchestrated by a faceless group unknown to them, and they want to make it clear that they do not support any form of protest.

"We want to make it clear that we are law-abiding citizens, and we have confidence in the justice system," Barry said. "We believe that Comrade Thomas Umar will be granted bail in accordance with the constitution of the country, and we don't see the need for any protests or processions."

Barry emphasized that any planned protest would be illegal and that participants would be held responsible. "No registered Tangale-Waje group with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) is behind this planned protest," he claimed. "Anyone who joins the protest will be doing so at their own risk."

The family and friends of Comrade Thomas Umar are confident that the legal process will take its course, and they are urging supporters to stay away from any protests. Instead, they should demonstrate their support for Thomas through peaceful means, such as prayers and well-wishes.

"We urge all well-meaning citizens of Tangale-Waje to disregard the call for protests and instead focus on promoting peace and stability in our community," Barry said. "We are confident that justice will be served, and Comrade Thomas Umar will be vindicated."

The statement also warned that anyone who participates in the planned protest would be doing so without the backing of Thomas' family and friends. "We want to make it clear that we do not support any form of violence or lawlessness," Barry emphasized.

The family and friends of Comrade Thomas Umar reiterate their confidence in the justice system and urge citizens to remain calm and peaceful. They believe that Thomas will be granted bail, and they look forward to his speedy release.
