Leadership is the capacity and the will to rally men and women to a common purpose and the character which inspires confidence. It is  lifting a person’s vision to high sights, the raising of a person’s performance to a higher standard, the building of a personality beyond its normal limitations.

Many including members of the opposition applauded the emergencce of Rt. Hon. (Dr) Ali Bukar Dalori as the APC Deputy National Chairman North after the appointment of Senator Abubakar Kyari as a minister of Agriculture and Food Security from Borno State.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) is one of the two major contemporary political parties in Nigeria. Founded on February 6, 2013, through a merger of Nigeria’s three largest opposition parties, the APC came to power following the victory of the party’s candidate Muhammadu Buhari in the 2015 presidential election.This marked the first time in Nigerian history that an opposition party would unseat a governing party and power.

Dalori was a longest State party's Chairman in Borno State before his surgeon to the current position as deputy National Chairman North of the rulling All progressive Congress and his leadership commitment towards improving the lives and well being of the party's members and humanity is unwavering. He was the chairman of the defunct All Nigeria People Party (ANPP) which later formed the merger.

An experienced leader and politician, Dalori is was a three-time councilor and later served as member of the Borno State House of Assembly and was six-time chairman of Konduga local government. Dalori has been an active and grassroots politician of high repute that is respected by all and sundry beyond the edges of tribes and religion.

During his reign as the State Chairman of the APC, he superheaded a team that played an instrumental roles towards the success of  Professor Babagana Umarah Zulum CON at the peak of the Boko Haram insurgency in 2019. Since then, he enjoys a working relationship with the party's Stakeholders and leaders of the party in Borno State including the Vice President Kashim Shettima GCON.

This cordial relationship between the duo played significant roles and was a shift of paradox that benefitted the entire sons and daughters of Borno State in combatting insecurity led by Professor Zullum.This placed Dalori on the national radar of politics of Nigeria as the chairman of APC and Borno State Chairmen Forum of Nigeria.. 

One thing that will continue to go memory lane in the minds of the good people of Borno State was his courage and determination to unify all the former governors of Borno state together. For the first time in history, all the former Governors attended not only the flag of the second term bid of Zulum but graciously worked towards his re-election. Senator Ali Modu Sheriff returns fully into Borno State 

11 years after.

His passion and commitment to returns power to the grassroots through community participatory democracy, he brought together all the warring parties and now a master of the game and political conflict manager during difficult situations. His stewardship has brought together the good people of Borno State as an indivisible family to confront their challenges head on.This United force built by Dalori brought succour to many communities leveraging on the Government of Borno State and Nigeria.

Dalor’is leadership qualities are now a reference point in political discourse in Nigeria due to his wide acceptance within and outside the State. Since his ratification as the deputy National Chairman of the All Progressive Congress, he has since continued to gain wide acceptance in Nigeria and outside the country. He has supported the actualisation of the party's core values, initiated and implemented numerous policies and programmes that have brought succour to the Nigerian people by providing Infrastructure, wealth creation and employment generation.

Borno State was an epicenter of the  Boko Haram insurgency which killed hundreds and displaced thousands in the State and the North-east in general. He has consistently spoke on a number concerning problems and issues bothering his people and the country at large. He is dogged fighter and an inspirational leader who’s versatile political knowledge has given it all for the rulling All progressive Congress and the nation.

Dalori differed from his contemporaries due to philanthropic and golden heart having assisted hundreds of young Nigerians, across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, to be self reliant. He was a strong pillar who formed and funded one of the strongest APC youths movement with a highly and reputable minds across the federation. Dalori Vanguard Movement for Tinubu/Shettima” was a  sub-group that canvasesed support for the election of President Bola Ahmad Tinubu GCFR

and Vice President  Senator Kashim Shettima co-opted with over 5000 youths across the nooks and crannies the country.

The group was fully funded and it remains functional with coordinators in each of the six geopolitical zones of Nigeria with an expansion across 774 local governments areas, 8,812 wards and 120,001 polling units which is giving this administration a wider wide publicity. Today, even as many Nigerian youths are plugged into politics of regional and ethnicity sentiments to organise a protest against the Tinubu's administration are not bearing fruits due to the wider information sharing formula Dalori adopted.

The aforementioned group is doing a great job towards promoting the ideals and the success stories of the current administration making youths to actively engaged.He is indeed, a bridge builder, a peace maker and one who believes passionately in the unity of Nigeria and North-east region in particular. He has a supporting pilar to the National Chairman of our great party the Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje making the party's tedious works more easy and effective.

His combination with Ganduje is results oriented and has ensured the nomination of youth to participate in the party's activities in Kogi and now Edo State. The party has been winning elections and gaining more momentum despite the challenges confronting us as a nation. His uncommon patriotism and his readiness to reach out to people no matter their backgrounds and tribal inclinations is rekindling the glory of APC at all fronts. A patriotic Nigerian, he believes people must live to love themselves despite our diversity. His office at the party's National Secretariat is a home for all from the North down to the South. The language of one Nigeria is manifesting and the future is bright for the deputy National Chairman who has given the Youths all to flourish.

In the next coming years, Dalori's aim at of rewriting history appears to be only getting started, and expectations are that he will finish his tenure on a high note.
