NANS Zone E holds First Excos Meeting chaired by Comr.Alhaseenor.

The pioneer Coordinator of the National Association of Nigerian Students NANS Zone E North East Comrade Alhasseenor Adam has chaired its first Zonal meeting on 9th May,2022.

The meeting  has discussed critical issues especially the ongoing  strike action by Academic Staff Union of Universities. They resolved that the inauguration to hold first week of June in Gombe while urging the Joint Campus Committee to conduct elections.

The Pre-convention of the  National Association of Nigerian Students NANS scheduled for 13th May,2022 in Jigawa State. The coordinator encourages the Executives to attend and such will accord them an opportunity to ganner more experience and give them an opportunity to interact with other members of the NANS family.

Opening prayers at individual level.

The house agreed that, Gombe State Excos will host the inauguration(First Week June).

Inauguration must be colourful as it is our first inauguration in the zone.

Excos are advised to be loyal to leaders in their various states.

Joint Campus Council(JCC) elections should be conducted at the appropriate time for efficiency in discharging our duties during the struggle for a better Nigeria and Northeast as a zone.

Excos of various offices are to produce their letter head papers to swing into action where applicable.

Coordinator encouraged the executives on the need to attend the forthcoming pre-convention in Jigawa state this friday(13th May, 2023).

The zonal Coordinator, Comrade Alhasseenor Adam laments on the ASUU/FG inability to call back Lecturers, Non-Academic Staff and Students back on campus to continue studies and work in their  respective areas.

He encouraged the zonal excos to do their best in lobbying personalities in supporting students in the zone.

On the closing note, the Coordinator appreciated the excos for their participation and contributions towards uplifting Norheast zone and Nigerian students at large.

The meeting was adjourn by Comrade Bappa Hassan and seconded by Comrade Jangus Gotong Gamslang.
