Time for the Plateau Youth to think beyond his nose. By: Mabur Tokshik

The problem with the world is that the stupid people are full of confidence while the intelligence ones are full of doubt. These has made the stupid people to triumphed over the intelligence people on the Plateau and the country at large. It is very easy for some Youths to coined my story as been partisan though as a Human being mistakes are likely to accompany most of my submissions. 

On  a personal ground and someone who shared the pains of many issues going on the Plateau that has direct bearing with Government failure certainly the truth never compromised its standards. It is on this plight that ,I feel very humble as a young Nigerian from Bokkos Local Government of Plateau State to draw the attention of our youths to ensure that they don't trade with their future in the next coming local Governments elections.

The fourth coming local Governments elections on the Plateau is another eye opener to our young people who have abandoned their business that kept them for decades to assumed an unrewarding Advocacy of advancing the course of the bourgeoisies on the Plateau.The Youths must think beyond just APC and PDP because they are not more than  platforms of winning elections as both has failed to solve the average of problem of the plateau people.

The youths with the true spirit of patriotism and instinct thinking for a better society has been chased away by our Political elites on the Plateau. They have been replaced by those who have been destroyed by all sorts of alcoholism to decide the faith of the educated even though some of the few Privileged ones who passed through schools are not more than social media handlers of these Politicians.

We have chosen to be enemies of each other on the Social Media Platforms as some Youths spent precious hours and some take the whole night defending these worthless rulers who called themselves leaders.The Plateau must as a matter of urgency in action think and act Plateau because these rulers are gradually becoming helpless and in other words has completely neglected their primary responsibility of protecting the lives and properties of a plateau citizen. 

The Youths of our dear Plateau must think a million times and turn to a new leaves otherwise the our very rich ancestorial heritage will no where to be found.The learner Plateau youth has failed to understand that the children of the elites does not go for campaigns nor rallies yet we have failed to understands who is responsible for our Predicaments.

Most of their children hardly vote neither goes out to campaign for their parents who in return use the tax payers money for their own personal and selfish interest. The live a flamboyant lives and drives exotic cars at the expense of the masses who continue to suffer the pains and in Vanguished the failure of clueless regimes in Nigeria and in Plateau in Particular.

We are leaving witnessed on how these Political elites built mansions in selected Government Reserved Areas at the time the downtrodden lives in slums and charlets even when they are the owners of the votes. One funny and interesting thing we need to know is that as Youths is that we have been trading with our future that of the unborn generations for a token.

Considering the ongoing and forgoing Insecurity in Plateau,the North and Nigeria is because the greater percentage of the nation Security are used of Protecting the elites ,their children and their immediate family at the expense of the masses and the Nigerian Youths.We are battling to see the blink of light once in a blue moon because even if our angwas are connected to the National grid consistent failures of the transformers is a fairy tell in the minds of the narrators.

The Youths who managed to secured admissions and graduates only read about employments in the faces of the National Dailies and Social Media handles. Their children who schooled abroad are employed in the first class agencies like the shell, NNPC, NIMISSA, NCC, TOTAL, CBN and to many to mention of their likes .Money meant for infrastructural development across the nooks and crannies of the State are channels in to developing private firms of these money bags Politicians as a lifetime investment for their children and colonies.

 

They drive on Hilux and Prados and that they do not care about that your rural road. Their CHILDREN are in private and foreign schools and that is why they can not fix the public schools you are attending. Their CHILDREN are gaining employment in juicy places like CBN, BPE, NNPC, SHELL, NPA,NIMISSA,,your own employment is N-POWER NPF,AA,NA,NSCDC etc if at all you are lucky. It is high time we question our leaders and hold them accountable.

I know the first  person to attack me now will be a youth the society we live today depends on the actions and inactions of the Nigerian Youths. What is so annoying and distorting is how our fellow Youths actively participate in destroying our country and the State of Plateau in Particular by supporting injustice. 

It is a time for think beyond our noses as youths to end the 21st century slavery as the reward of the youths at the aftermath of elections are not more than PAs and Social Media Media advisers. Let remember that Emmanuel Macron was elected President of the mighty Republic of France at the age of 39 ,it means that with our population the seat of a local Government Chairman is a none negotiable project if not because of our differences.
