Gumau Sanga: Two years after as DG Bauchi State Public Procurement Beareau.

Since the assumption of His Excellency the Executive Governor of Bauchi State Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed (Kauran Bauchi) in may 2019. The good people of the State has been kingly waiting , praying and sending their best regards to the present administration especially in the areas of infrastructural development within and outside the city centre. 

Many are of the opinion that two years of the current administration despite the challenges has done more than enough in justifying the confidence of the people (electorates) in the State. Governor Bala Mohammed is able to succeeds and achieve this huge successes because of his focus and determination in appointing very credible hands in to Government to drive the sectors to this desirable ends. 

As we congratulates the good people of Bauchi State for this successful two years outing,in our part and in Toro Local Government in particular. We must sincerely thank the Governor for moving outside the box of religion and tribes to the box of credibility and competency by appointing our own son who's glorious name has been flying for quite some years in the local Government and beyond.

Engineer Sanga is one of the best gift the Almighty has done to us as a people and today two years after his appointment as Director General Public Procurement Beareau of Bauchi State Government his people are still rejoying and celebrating this very iconic gentleman for standing on his feets to compliment the efforts of the present administration transformational efforts ( Bauchi Sabuwa).

The young Engineer who holds the title of Jagaban Wunti has within two years in office achieved tremendous successes both on a personal ground as well as his Office as Director General Bauchi Procurement Beareau. We are today celebrating two of this noble gentleman because his Journey into Politics has clearly proven to be not to be on a personal benifits but it is because of the symbol he represents of hope to the hopeless,the youths,women and the generality of all.We have taken out time to highlights in brief and highlights his achievements directly into his office that has direct bearing on the Bauchi State Government and his office in particular.

He has set a paste in the Due Process that was established 13 years ago with the esterblishment of cadre in the procurement Bereau on assumption of office. He has procured Laptops Computers for the Procurement Officers as well establishment of E-procurement as the world world has since gone digital to ease their works as and for transparent procurement processes. organising of training of over 200 micro and SMEs within the 20 local Governments areas of the State on Basic Procurement process and Procedures.Purchase and distribution of 16 laptops from a single one met , Repaired of Five Operational vehicles for effective Projects Monitoring,None delay in treatment of files without the known culture of collecting nor recieving kickbacks and  Standard price intelligence on all government contracts to save money for the state to be used on more projects.

 The current Director General Bauchi State Government Public Procurement Beareau has extended the agency training to the Staff of Board of internal Revenue Services in the State to assist in reducing the level of corruption in revenue Generation. His respect for the law and due process in managing the affairs of Government for effective service delivery,he has Gazzeted the 2020 revised edition of the Bauchi State Public Procurement law. Our readers will be glad to know that for a time been , lack of good Leadership, Political will, capacity building and pervasive corruption has been identified as one for the major factors militating against the smooth running of the affairs of Governments particularly at the level of the State. 

In Bauchi State ,We have seen an entirely story all through because the incumbent Governor has assembled one of the best brains who has all it takes to assemble the State and the country at large into his Government to assist in the huddles that our dear State shrinking for decades. We must commend and thank Governor Bala Mohammed for allowing credibility to speak in his criteria of selection of appointees which brought and usher in Eng. Sanga (Jagaban Wunti) into his historic transformation circle that are today making the good people of Toro Local Government and the State General proud.

Politics and Governance in the present contemporary day Nigeria has become a very difficult game to play and a tedious one to manage ranging from the misinformation on why people are been appointed to serve in Government. This terrain as briefly highlighted above has been a serious calamity to many Politicians here in Bauchi State and the country in general because many has to turn off their TV,phones and even has to run away from friends due to over increasing of unnecessary demands mostly personal grounds .

The sad reality is that ,the unfolding Economic hardships has been attributed to this but certainly this habit discourage many from joining and partipating into active Politics because many end up without a borehole at the doorstep of their communities nor their local Governments. This is becoming a huge responsibility and a burden to the Political appointees as many run to their offices with such baseless demands that end up only to their pockets at the detriments of the majority who are yearning for good roads , Hospitals , Education and infrastructures among others.

I took my time to make the above narrations because of the important that is attached to this piece and for our readers to understands the challenges of been in Government and how difficult it is to manage people especially those with diverse interests. This discussion is drived from the archives of countless politicians who failed woefully in their areas of primary responsibility with the aimed of pleasing the demanding populace and frankly speaking without mixing words Sanga is a winner in both aspects since his assumption of office two years after and it is a thing of joy that he has not failed.

Perfection is an attribute of God only but this very noble gentleman is an excellent reformer who's name cannot and will never be wipe out in the history of Toro Local Government and the State at large. Attached are among the underlisted achievements of Sanga on a personal ground to help in shielding the people from the Economic uncertainties and help to improve their well being.

He is able to touched the lives of the people using his hard earned resources to finance critical sectors of Human endavors through Rural water supply and rehabilitation across Toro Local Government,Free medical outreach, Distribution of Ramadan Gifts to the fellow Muslim ummah making him the detrablised Nigerian,Youth empowerment and mobilization,Assistance to the vulnerable families and individuals mostly sick patients battling medical bills and students to ease their school fees payments,He has attracted more  State Government Projects to Toro Local Government and to many of this to mention but a few.

Finally , Engineer Joshua Gumau Sanga FNSE (Jagaban Wunti) is the no one but the ultimate son of Toro Local Government who deserves the claps, prayers and best wishes of all and sundry as he clocks two years in office as the Director General Bauchi State Public Procurement Beareau. His rich experience is indeed a great value in championing the course of good governance, restoring dignity and lost of hope on Government and Governance after successive administrations in the State. His appointment into this exalted office by His Excellency Senator Bala Mohammed Kauran Bauchi is indeed an advantage and a great discovery done to us free of charge that here in Toro we have a man who has all it takes to champion course and lead again to our glory days of reckoning. We shall understand this better ,point and clear when we remove the sentiments out of our politics because this exactly what the Governor did to have him on the space even when we sleep and dinned with him day and night.
